About
Kate Henderson is Chief Executive of the National Housing Federation (NHF), the voice of housing associations in England.
Kate sits on several government panels including the Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Expert Group, and she was previously a member of the government’s New Towns Taskforce.
Kate became a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in 2021. Prior to joining the NHF in 2018, Kate was Chief Executive of the Town and Country Planning Association.
She joined Public Practice's board in 2026.
