Autumn Cohort 2023
Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
As part of our Autumn Cohort 2023, Peter worked with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea as a Senior Project Manager (net zero) within the team delivering low-carbon deep retrofit projects on the Lancaster West Estate. His role involved overseeing design and construction projects, assembling teams, and ensuring completion on site. The projects, co-designed with residents, aimed to create low-energy, low-carbon homes while allowing residents to stay in place.
Based on the estate, Peter worked within a dedicated Neighbourhood team formed after the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The team strived to create a safer, greener estate without regeneration, densification, or large-scale relocations. The Neighbourhood model promoted transparency and collaboration by having open access for residents and co-locating services on site to foster a more integrated approach.
