About
James is an experienced Chartered Town Planner, specialising in strategic planning, city visioning, economic development and regeneration.
He has worked extensively across the public and private sector, including a role as Lead Regeneration Officer on secondment to the Borough of Hounslow where he developed an Economic Recovery Strategy, supported town centres impacted by COVID-19, and developed an in-house GIS incident reporting system.
Before joining the Associate Programme, he worked closely with the London Borough of Camden to maximise the economic benefits resulting from the Council retrofitting their housing stock.

As Industrial Sector Manager for the London Borough of Enfield, James played a key role in delivering the Economic Development Strategy concerning industrial areas, which play a critical part of employment in the borough. His work involved the creation of action plans for priority industrial areas and mobilising staff and resources to deliver these strategies.
