Gianluca Cavallaro-Ng

Gianluca is a community organiser and planner with a master’s in City Planning. He has extensive experience in community consultation, participatory design, and stakeholder engagement with grassroots communities, local authorities, and social justice organisations. He has a background in developing and regenerating community and social infrastructure, fuel and energy poverty policy, and housing policy.

As an Associate, he was matched with a role as Strategic Planning Project Officer at the London Borough of Hillingdon, where he was assigned as project manager for two town centre masterplan projects. He worked across various levels of governance to create partnerships with internal, external, and community stakeholders, championing a community-focused perspective to direct the master plan.

At his placement, Gianluca project managed two town centre masterplan projects. He oversaw them through the inception, tender, and execution stages.

He also worked across various levels of governance to create partnerships with internal, external, and community stakeholders. He held regular meetings to ensure that the council communicated internally and externally effectively.

He was able to provide advice and guidance from a community-focused perspective on what the needs of the town centres might be and where their masterplanning efforts should be concerned.
