Farid Abdulla

Senior Planning and Urban Design Officer

About

Farid has spent two decades in the private, public and third sectors, working across economic development, community regeneration and the built environment to make spaces and places work better for the people who live in and experience them. His work spans design, strategy, and delivery, driven by the belief that the best outcomes emerge from incorporating multiple perspectives early on and transforming shared ideas into informed change. He has worked with councils, communities and clients on projects that respond to how places are messy, grow and remain lived in. Farid focuses on asking the right questions, quickly understanding the context, and building trust. He has applied these methods in the UK, Europe and the Global South
