About
Eduardo is an urban planner who specialises in stakeholder engagement, participatory processes, and sustainable development. Before joining the Autumn Cohort 2024, he worked in Mexico’s national ministries of territorial and urban development and social development and at the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).
At UN-Habitat Eduardo was responsible for engaging with local communities and stakeholders to create policies and programmes aimed at creating thriving, sustainable and safe cities. He also managed the delivery of local planning documents, assessments on social housing policy, shared prosperity regional plans, urban design guidelines, and regeneration schemes.

During his placement, Eduardo supported the delivery of regeneration and development projects across his authority. He contributed to project scoping, feasibility work, and stakeholder coordination, helping teams progress early-stage proposals. Eduardo assisted with report writing, data analysis, and programme planning, enabling more structured decision-making and smoother project delivery.
