Pooja Agrawal

About

Pooja is an architect and planner who worked as a public servant at Homes England and the Greater London Authority (GLA). It was at the GLA in the Regeneration and Economic Development team where she developed the idea of and co-founded Public Practice in 2017. Prior to this, she worked at private architecture and urban design practices, including Publica, We Made That and G-Tects (New York), taught at Central Saint Martins, and was a Trustee for the Museum of Architecture.

In 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022 she was nominated for the Planner’s Women of Influence. In 2020/21 Pooja co-hosted the spatial equality platform Sound Advice and co-published Now You Know, a compendium of fifty essays exploring spatial and racial inequality. She is a Fellow at the Institute of Innovation at Public Purpose at UCL.

Pooja joined the Public Practice team in the summer of 2021 as our CEO and is responsible for developing our strategy, partnerships, and leading our external communications
