About

Aman is an urban designer with a background in masterplanning, landscape design, architecture, and research. He studied Regional and Urban Planning Studies at LSE, where his research centred on gentrification and regeneration.

Before becoming an Associate, he worked at Allies and Morrison where he contributed to the development of integrated transport, public realm, masterplanning and regeneration strategies in international contexts, including a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Autumn Cohort 2022

London Borough of Croydon

He was matched with a role as Senior Project Officer in Croydon Council's Placemaking Team, tasked with improving design and sustainability outcomes in the borough. In his role, he has led the delivery of public realm projects, drafted design guidance, and conducted evidence-based research. Aman continues to provide design and sustainability expertise in the planning process and has supported the review of Croydon's Local Plan by undertaking capacity testing on key town centre sites.
