About

Michelle is an experienced architect, with a special interest in community engagement to create successful places that truly serve the needs of their end users and wider community. She has experience across multiple sectors, including exhibitions, housing, education, commercial and the public realm.

Before joining the Autumn 2024 Cohort, she worked at vPPR Architects often developing creative solutions for unlocking constrained sites. Notably, she recently led the delivery for a new-build 8-unit affordable-rent scheme in Croydon. Her dedication to architecture has been recognised, being shortlisted for the MJ Long Prize for Excellence in Practice 2024, part of the AJ and AR’s W Awards.

During her placement as a Senior Project Officer, Michelle supported regeneration and development projects by contributing to research, feasibility studies, and project coordination. She prepared reports, engaged with stakeholders, and supported cross-team collaboration. Her work enabled clearer project planning and more efficient delivery across several workstreams.
