Anshul Rathore

About
Anshul is a dedicated town planner with a bachelor's degree in architecture from India. He has extensive experience in plan-making, master planning, digital urbanism, and project management and holds a Master's degree in City Planning.
He was a student intern at the Greater London Authority, where he reviewed grant applications from investment partners for the Affordable Homes Programme.
Before his postgraduate studies, Anshul worked in India, developing a digital dashboard for the Smart City Mission to enhance urban governance. His early career included managing the comprehensive master planning for a medical campus in India as a Project Assistant Architect. He has also collaborated on large-scale institutional projects with the Aga Khan Development Network in Kenya, gaining invaluable experience in design and stakeholder collaboration.

Lewes District & Eastbourne Borough Council
During his placement, Anshul supported policy development across Lewes and Eastbourne by contributing to evidence gathering, spatial analysis, and Local Plan drafting. He reviewed environmental and housing constraints, prepared spatial options, and supported consultation processes. His work helped translate complex planning issues into accessible material for stakeholders and ensured policy development progressed in line with statutory requirements.
