Urban Design Comment Tracker

This Urban Design Comment Tracker builds upon the previously published tool, the Urban Design Tracker produced as a Word Document. This new spreadsheet-based Tracker is created to enable officers and developers to manage and measure design quality, in line with criteria outlined in the National Design Guide whilst being adaptable to local circumstances. It has been developed and tested to provide a tool applicable to proposals of different scales through the planning process.

The tracker was produced by Alastair Crockett, Fraser McQuade and Ibrahim Buhari as part of a year-long placement as a Public Practice Associates at Camden Council, Brighton & Hove City Council and the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, respectively and first published for use in April 2021.
