How Can Local Authorities Structure a Post-Permission Service?
This Practice Note explores how a post-permission service, equivalent to the pre-application stage, could help to improve the quality of development. Drawing on research carried out during a year-long placement (April 2018 - 2019) in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets by Lucia Morato, it sets out a series of measures that Authorities can take to establish a more structured post-permission service. The Practice Note is accompanied by a checklist and exemplar clauses which can be used by Authorities.
