Design Review Introduction for Committee Members

Design Review is a process to support planning authorities, providing independent, multi-disciplinary, specialist advice.
Design Review Panels (DRP) are made up of industry professionals, including architects, landscape architects, urban designers and engineers, often including specialisms such as heritage and sustainability.

This Guidance Note was produced by Huw Trevorrow during a year-long placement (April 2019 to April 2020) and is best used by planning officers who are looking for a short document to help introduce the benefits of design review panels to Committee Members.
