We believe that to improve the quality and equality of places in practice we must engage with different sectors involved in shaping the built environment. That is why our Funders are made up of public, private and third sector organisations.

Grant Providers

Public Practice has successfully secured several grants from public sector organisations to help us set up and develop as a not-for-profit company.

For the first five years since its inception, the Greater London Authority has provided grants totalling over £200,000.

In February 2022, Public Practice was successfully awarded a grant from Homes England to enable the organisation to scale our Associate Placement Programme. The following year in March 2023, we received a funding boost from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities.

Partners & Supporters

All Partner and Supporter income comes without restriction, meaning they have no say in how Public Practice chooses to spend their contributions. We have two partnership tiers to reflect the two levels of donations provided.

The funding provided by Partners and Supporters enables us to keep our placement fees to Local authorities at affordable rates; means we don’t have to charge Associates to take part in the programme so that we can attract the most diverse candidates we can, and allows us to invest in non-profit work like advocacy and resource publishing.

Our Partners provide feedback on Public Practice's communications, attend events, and receive public acknowledgement of their support.
